Joseph H. Hosmer Re-Elected as President of Safari Club International Foundation
Tucson, AZ (May 20, 2014) –Joseph H. Hosmer was re-elected to serve another two-year term as President of Safari Club International Foundation (SCI Foundation) at the May 7th board meeting in Arlington, Virginia.
“As SCI Foundation President, I am certainly honored by the past four years of support from the SCI Foundation Board and stand appreciative of the Board’s strength in addressing our challenges,” Hosmer said. “I look forward to continuing to help build the Foundation over the next two years and continuing to serve as its President.”
The following officers were also re-elected to serve for another two-year term: Roman DeVille (Vice President), Alain Smith (Secretary), and Warren Alan Sackman, III (Treasurer). During the meeting, Mike Rogers, Sr. was welcomed as the newest member of the SCI Foundation Board.
Each board member understands and is committed to SCI Foundation’s mission and vision, is knowledgeable of SCI and SCI Foundation’s services policies and programs, and contributes to SCI Foundation’s annual and capital fundraising initiatives with a personal financial and time commitment made by all directors and officers. Congratulations to our newly re-elected officers and a huge welcome to Mike Rogers, Sr. as its newest member.
In addition to the newly re-elected officers, Nancy Addison, John Banovich, Deb Cunningham, Byron Sadler, Sandra Sadler, Merle Shepard and Norbert Ullmann will comprise our 2014-2015 Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is a Standing Committee of SCI Foundation. In collaboration with the SCI Foundation Board of Directors, the Advisory Board provides advice, recommendations, and expertise to the strategic direction of SCI Foundation.
