SCI Foundation is pleased to announce that we renewed our partnership with the International Conservation Caucus Foundation (ICCF) for 2015.
ICCF works with leaders of government, business, and non-governmental organizations to set the conservation and environmental agenda by coordinating with legislators, people with scientific expertise, and policymakers who shape legislation.
To date ICCF has over 60 partner organizations and has increased overall biodiversity funding for USAID, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and efforts to curb the African poaching crisis. Additionally ICCF and the U.S. Caucus leadership has facilitated and directed the implementation of Congo Basin Forest Partnership Act, Tropical Forest Conservation Act, and Multispecies Conservation Stamp Act.
Like ICCF, SCI Foundation seeks to educate policymakers on international issues of natural resource management throughout the legislative process and we are committed to finding solutions for conservation and sustainability worldwide.
SCI Foundation provides funding through grant programs to aid organizations in wildlife population and habitat management. Its global conservation efforts work with government officials to prevent poaching in Africa and Asia and to ensure proper management plans are established worldwide. We are proud to partner with organizations like ICCF, who share our goals of advancing global conservation efforts and educating the public as well as policy makers. We hope to multiply our effectiveness through the ICCF partnership as we continue to fund and direct conservation projects around the world.
